Paul Klee 1

The other day I watched a great documentary on Paul Klee. It's pretty new (not that old PBS style). In Paul Klee: The Silence of the Angel, 2005 his life story is partially illustrated by puppets he made for his child. Each puppet is a character that represents a phase of his life. Of course there is beautiful black and white footage and lush colorful images of the work too. A bonus feature is 150 digital images of selected works you watch as a slideshow. A small cross section considering he made over 9,000 paintings and even more drawings.

All of these Klee posts are beautiful. Gotta check the doc. We x'ed netflix so we just gotta find it somewhere somehow. Peace brother, hope all is well.
