Yesterday was May 12th. I wore my winter coat, it was cold and the heat came on in my studio. To add confusion to that fact, we (here in NY) didn't have one significant snow fall all winter. Is it me getting older and doing too much childhood-fun romanticizing or do you also remember winters full of snow up to your thighs and schooldays off? Also, I'm pretty sure that I was chomping at the bit to wear shorts and t-shirts to school in May... mid May!
Is it me, or does it seem like mother nature is trying to signal that we, the world, are doing something wrong?
Everyday it seems like a tornado or hurricane is wiping out towns in the south and midwest of the United States.
Within 10 days there has been catastrophic damage and death in Myanmar and Southwest China!
40,000?, 50,000?, 60,000? total lives lost in the month of May.
Typhoons, earthquakes, tornados, tsunami, wild fires... what's next, locust?
